went into town today and picked up nem a copy then thought oh well and went and got another for me

i very nearly got fallout 3 instead but i was plesantly pleased with my purchase
the game is based on both daniel craig movies casino royal and quantum of solace
it uses the CoD4 game engine and is made my Treyarch aarrgghh i know but after playing the world at war beta i can trust then yet again.
no lunch box like doodle got im afraid i just had to balance my sarnies on my lap

but what you do get is one of the best bond games i have played yet, the single player is just like cod4 looks and plays like it.
when your close enough to an enemy you have to press one of the 4 buttons on the pad to disarm then and take them out a bit like how it was done in the borne game.
level design is very nice most things can be shot cups, tv's, pc's chairs etc i have not tried to shoot through cover yet so not sure if this carries over from CoD4 but the fluidness of CoD4 gameplay deffo does.
there is also a clever run to cover option if you aim your gun at part of the map and hold down the a button you will run to that park and take cover behind the object, a bit like in GoW.
i can see the single player being as much of a pain as CoD4 was to complete, i have been playing it through on easy there are 4 difficulty settings the top one being
007 and i have seen a few places now that i already know will be very very hard in
007 mode.
played a bit online today and there are 12 maps and 7 game modes from deathmatch to bond v's where each player takes it in turn to be bond and defuse 2 of 3 bombs.
online does not look as good as single player but alot of games are a bit like that
its sad that this game has been lost in the mad influx of game releases as it could be very nice online with a load of CoGgers hint hint !!!

there are no ranks but a funny scoring system where you earn points to buy new weapons and gadgets to keep but not really had time to look at it yet
the old proximity mines are there so nem will be happy LOL
